Deadwax connects another computer or phone to your running Deadwax desktop. It creates a secure tunnel to stream data using Iroh. Deadwax lets you browse and play the music in your Deadwax folder and ask Deadwax to download a track while you are away from the computer.
How it works
- Open the Deadwax page in Deadwax and create a one-use QR code.
- Scan it with Deadwax, or paste the manual pairing code, to connect over encrypted Iroh.
- Deadwax continues to handle Nostr discovery and private Tor downloads.
- Verified audio already held by Deadwax reaches the paired phone over Iroh.
Deadwax must remain open and connected while Deadwax accesses your desktop library. Podcasts are independent and come directly from their public publishers.
